thanks to everybody for all the congratulations, i am obviously still very nervous. i am 14dpiui today, i wasn’t planning on testing until tomorrow or the next day, but since the doctor said i should test today i thought, what the hell, i’ll just run to the bathroom real quick and test, it doesn’t matter that i’m at work, surely it will be negative… WRONG! i had my first beta and it came back at 373, i’ll have another one on friday, the number should double from now to then. i really hope it does. i am totally worried about chemical pregnancy and also ectopic since i’ve had one before. if my number goes up like it should by friday then i can have an ultrasound in a couple of weeks to make sure it’s not ectopic.

WOOT!!!!!! I was really hoping your “cramps” were pregnancy, but, didn’t want to pump you up. SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!! Good luck on Friday. Those seem like WONDERFUL numbers!

373 is a nice strong number, I’d expect it to be much lower for a chemical. I’m keeping positive thoughts your way for a nice doubling beta on Friday. Stop second guessing yourself and enjoy this time (hah, I give the advice I can’t take!) today, right now you’re pregnant!
